About Us

The Darien Land Trust owns more than six acres in the Nearwater Lane corridor, including Brendan’s Meadow.

We are continuing to restore the habitat at these properties by planting a wildflower meadow, removing invasive phragmites, and replanting the native tidal marsh plants that enhance the coastal ecosystem.

The iconic view from Nearwater Lane preserves a scenic vista across one of our favorite places.
